Designed for both fresh-water and effluent irrigation systems. Learns the operating pressure each time the system is started, then applies its own under- and over-pressure set points for highly targeted leak and over-pressure detection. Suits fixed pods or travelling irrigators.

Self-Learning Pressure Algorithm
The IPG20 MK3 measures the system’s normal operating pressure each time it starts and uses that as the reference for under- and over-pressure detection. As the irrigator travels over varying terrain the auto-terrain-compensation function adjusts the reference downward / upward in real time, so leak and blockage thresholds remain meaningful even as system pressure changes naturally.
Flow Sensitivity & Paddle Trimming
The IPG20 ships with one paddle (suits pipes 25 mm and larger) and two trailing wires (suits 65–100 mm ID, subject to velocity). The flow at which the paddle activates depends on pipe size, viscosity, and trimmed paddle length. Use the online Paddle Calculator to estimate activation flow and determine how much to trim the paddle for your application.
3-Phase Pump Motors
The IPG20 MK3 can be used to control either single-phase or 3-phase pumps, provided a 220–240 V AC or 24 V AC/DC supply is available at the installation site. For 3-phase motors the IPG20 drives an interposing contactor — use the Pump Controller Power Calculator to size the contactor and verify cable rating + voltage drop.
Application Restriction
The IPG20 MK3 is an industrial control device, specifically designed for use in dairy and agricultural applications. It must never be used for any other application. Installation must be carried out by a qualified pump engineer, and all electrical work by a licensed electrician.
Hazardous Areas
The IPG20 MK3 is not certified for use in hazardous areas and must not be installed in any area classified as hazardous under AS/NZS 60079.10 (Zone 0, 1, 2, 20, 21 or 22).
